Jason Brown

Director - Risk & Assurance

Jason joined Sun Metals in 2014 and was appointed to the role of General Manager Risk and Assurance in March 2023. As of July 2024, he was appointed the role of Director - Risk & Assurance.

Prior to this, Jason has fulfilled health and safety roles in the mining and defence industries. Jason believes in delivering safe and successful outcomes through the understanding and management of critical risk. 

As General Manager Risk and Assurance, Jason’s role is to set the strategic vision, create a shared understanding of what has to be achieved and deliver key Risk and Assurance initiatives to meet corporate requirements and legal obligations.  Jason engages key decision makers and provide strategic advice about health, safety, training, security and systems matters for Sun Metals Corporation and associated entities.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.
