Sun Metals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Advisor to coordinate and manage all contract management framework activity, provide contract management advice, and contribute to enhance contract functions including but not limited to staff training on processes, continuous improvements to contracts and ensure alignment with legislative requirements. 

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be involved in ensuring the safe efficient receipt, stock management and distribution of materials on site to support business activities. 

You will be part of a dedicated, professional procurement team, therefore good communication, cooperation and record keeping is essential. Your keys duties will include receipting, dispatching, inspection of goods, stock taking, unloading of deliveries from vehicles by forklift, destuffing shipping containers by forklift and undertaking housekeeping. 

In this role, your technical knowledge will be demonstrated by conducting hazard analysis, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) assessment, as well as participating and leading HAZOP workshops. You will support in the management of the MHF licence renewal process. You should also possess a strong knowledge and understanding of applicable design and safety standards and demonstrated familiarity with relevant Australian and International standards.

Sun Metals is seeking an experienced Civil Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance Department. You will have technical experience in scoping and coordinating civil maintenance and project works and the ability to manage tasks from scope through to closure. 

Reporting to the Reliability Planner, this role will carry out preventive maintenance on fixed cranes, as well as various pieces of fixed plant equipment.  You will maintain, diagnose, repair and replace plant and equipment to maximise ongoing reliability of plant processes through safe and efficient practices.  Additionally, you will coordinate contractors who provide crane maintenance and third-party inspections.

With your Trade Certificate (Cert III Engineering - Fitter) and strong focus and commitment to safety, you will have gained experience in minerals processing operations or similar heavy industry.  You are able to execute both planned and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant including belt conveyors, chain conveyors, agitators and general knowledge of with piping, valves and hydraulics.

Monday to Friday roster with monthly RDO’s and opportunity for overtime.

You will be responsible for project management from conception to completion. This will include coordinating schedules, resources, budgets, identifying issues and risks, and maintaining communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.

You will actively supervise project works with emphasis on safety, compliance to site procedures, quality and accuracy of work.
