DK Choi

Chief Operating Officer

DK joined Sun Metals in 2015 as Operations Manager and was later appointed Operations Director in 2019. As of July 2024, he is now the Chief Operating Officer.

DK commenced his career as a Process Engineer with Korea Zinc where he held that role for 13 years.  DK then took up the position of Process Improvement Superintendent with Sun Metals for 3 years, prior to returning to Korea Zinc to become Manager of Roasting/Sulphuric Acid department.

As Operations Director, DK contributes to strategic decision making to ensure effective utilisation of capital, identification of investment and business development projects.  He also manages risk strategies and policies to protect company assets, operational functions and business matters.

DK holds a Bachelor Degree in Metallugical Engineering.
